Welcome to SaveYourCopay.com
This site is intended to provide helpful information related to orthopedic conditions and the treatment of these conditions. The content of this website has been developed by Dr. Matt Davis and is a the result of his medcial education and training combined with his personal experience as a practicing orthopedic surgeon.
The primary objective in developing this website and the content it provides is patient education. Dr. Davis recognizes that patients often leave the office with a lot of unanswered questions. Family members frequently have questions or concerns that were not addressed during the office visit. Even those concerns that are discussed during an office visit may not be fully understood due to the overwhelming amount of information provided in the midst of a painful injury. The content of this site is intended to allow patients to review the relevant information in the comfort and convenience of their own home. Taking the time to review this information, without feeling rushed, or with the assistance of a family member to better understand what is being recommended, may help alleviate much of the anxiety associated with seeking medical care.
In developing the content for this site, it became clear that the information contained within this site could benefit people outside our medical practice. The information here is generally applicable to orthopedic conditions regardless of the treating physician or physical location of the individual involved. This information is being provided for educational purposes only. It is not intended to replace or contradict the specific advice or recommendations of your treating physician. I am not trying to practice medicine over the internet. Medical care is complex and individual circumstances may significantly impact the recommended treatment for a given condition or a given individual.
